Group Info

Traced Base Rebellion is a group for those who still support traced bases and those who use them. Right now, artists are taking down their traced bases by the dozens. It's not the most pleasant situation.
At the moment, traced bases are allowed on deviantART. But that doesn't mean you can skimp out on crediting the original artist, whether you know who or not. If you know the artist (from DA or any other art site, not a mangaka or animation company), then ASK them.

Our Policy:
Credit ALWAYS and ask when LOGICALLY possible.

So you say you're okay with traced bases, but what about when the base is made with out the original artist permission? What right does that give anyone to make a traced base from the original artists works?

FAQ #306: Does "Crediting" let me use whatever I want?

Crediting isn't enough. You NEED the original artist's permission.
